While doing a research paper for psychology I came across the Butt Bench website. I know your thinking how on earth did she come across a website like that while doing a research paper for psychology…lol. With developmental Psychology we are going through the life process and as our semester is coming to an end, so is our book. My assignment was on the older generation and trying to keep them safe. As our older generation is getting older we know their balances are getting unstable, if they fall they are more prone to breaking bones and the healing process is slow and they are more prone to infections.
Now with the Butt Bench we can try to prevent this type of accident in our homes. Plus it is like no other bath seat, which is why I had to review it. The Butt Bench does not have those metal legs that take up space and looks like a “medical” device. Instead it is stylish and looks great. It sits right on top of your existing tub with nothing to install, just set the suction cups to keep from sliding. Super easy!!! Ok so I’m not as old as I feel some days so I had other ideas for the Butt Bench. Ladies think of all the times your in the shower shaving your legs, for me it is such a pain twisting and turning. This bench makes a great place to sit without being uncomfortable. Plus it is big enough to keep everything right there next to you. The one thing Bill who I am working with did advise me, “If you do have children, please heed our warnings about lil’ boys diving off the seat”. My little guy is eight so for me it was not to much of a concern because he knows better, but it gives him a great place to put his tub toys and I now have less water on the floor. I fell in love with the Pine Butt Bench, they also come in Pink, White and Ceder (which is currently sold out). Butt benches measure 29 inches in length and will fit a standard size tub. There should be at least an inch of space on the sides of the tub where the Butt Bench can rest on, it also does not work on bathtubs over 60 years old, will not work on bathtubs with glass sliding doors. It holds up to 300 lbs. We received our Butt Bench for this review and opinions are mine and mine alone. Right now you can order a Butt Bench for yourself or a loved one for starting at $29.99. You also have a chance to win one from our sponsor. Or purchase for someone you love, they will not be disappointed!!!
