This alarm clock has many features- SUNRISE WAKE UP LIGHT, OPTIONAL NIGHT LIGHT, NATURAL ALARM SOUND & FM Radio, SIMULATED SUNSET LIGHT.

The sunrise wake up light comes on 30 minutes before the alarm goes off. Personally for me, this feature does not really do anything as I do not see the light come on. The light will gradually gets brighter and may gently wake you up from sound sleep. I have woken up before my alarm and have noticed that the closer it gets to the alarm going off the brighter it gets.

The optional night light feature can help with little ones who need the light to fall asleep. The best part about this that I like is that the light is adjustable to color such as green, red, blue, purple, organize, warm white. This is one of my favorite features as I like being able to change the colors. I change mine daily.

The alarm on this clock comes with with 6 more soothing sounds- like pure music, birds, forest, waves, beep sound,  or wakes up with your favorite FM Radio Channel. I found the alarm sounds can be adjusted so it can be turned either up or down depending on your preference.

The simulated sunlight can be turned on so that 30 minutes before set time, the light will gradually turn dimmed and turn off at sleep time. This is another favorite feature of mine as I can see the light dimming and I know it is closer to bedtime, without having to look at the clock.
